David Klingelhoefer has designed and tested a variation of Thane Heins' Bi-Toroid Transformer that outputs more power than is consumed. He has been able to get the primary circuit consumption down to 60 watts, while outputting 480 watts -- 8x overunity.

Re: Two Toroid Over-Unity Gabriel DeviceWell with 4 replications going on at once, each is getting a share of time while the Modular Rig Systems are also being cut out and despatched.
Replication is under way with Cores arriving a couple of weeks ago, as well as the 417 cores we also have received a 117 higher permability core.
And yep they are big!
Cable for inner and outer windings has also arrived and will start winding soon.
David is kindly posting over a shell for us to use, the same as he used in his device.
More as usual, when time allows.

Bloody heavy wire this 16awg and tough work getting it tight around the core. Each winding has to be litterally yanked tight as hell.
Going for 2000 windings as this is what David used on his last one to get the voltage up.
Here is the coil mounted in a vice screwed to the bench as such!
First complete layer of winding works out to be about 350 turns. So only another 1650 turns to go
As you can see it is nice and tight on the inside, but as usual fanned out on the outside. This will give us a good guide for the next layer though.

Can anyone answer the following:
ReplyDeleteIf the input goes down to 60 watts when the output is loaded to 480 watts (lamps), then why is the input series toaster required?
Surely a 60 watt lamp would do?
16# wire is very large for only a few amps.
Could not 20# wire be used which is much cheaper?
Watt meters.
IF there is a large amount of reactive power returning to the mains, the watt meter will be very inaccurate in its read and in fact read very low.
Perhaps this is the reason for APPARENTLY low input?
Has anyone thought about the action of the ring steel shell acting as a one turn secondary, which is basically a dead short carrying very heavy current?
Perhaps it may be advantageous to put a cut right through the ring to prevent this short?
